Our story
Triple Eight Distillery was founded in 2000 on Nantucket Island by the families behind Nantucket Vineyard (est. 1981) and Cisco Brewers (est. 1995). It began with a simple impulse: to move beyond wine and beer and create something new—spirits that reflect the island’s identity, environment, and sense of community. From the start, the goal was clear: to produce a world-class single malt whisky.
